Simple Jalapeño Popper Pinwheels
Simple Jalapeño Popper Pinwheels
Ingredients
1 cup Good Foods Creamy Cheddar Jalapeño with Uncured Bacon Dip
5–6 large flour tortillas (10-inch burrito-style)
(Optional) Additional shredded cheddar or chopped bacon for sprinkling
Directions
- Prep & Spread
Lay tortillas on a clean surface. Spoon about ¼ to ⅓ cup of the Good Foods Creamy Cheddar Jalapeno Dip onto each tortilla, spreading it evenly to within about ½ inch of all edges. This replaces the traditional filling of cream cheese, bacon, cheddar, and jalapeños—all effortlessly blended in one flavorful dip! - Roll & Chill
Working one tortilla at a time, roll it up tightly into a log. Wrap each log snugly in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Chilling makes slicing easier and cleaner. - Slice & Serve
Remove the chilled logs and unwrap. Using a sharp knife, cut each log into ¾–1-inch pinwheel slices. Arrange on a serving platter. If you like, top with extra shredded cheddar or bacon before serving. - (Optional) Warm Them Up
For a melty twist, place pinwheels on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 5–8 minutes—just until warmed through and golden, akin to the baked versions on other sites that use puff pastry or crescent dough.
