Freshness Under Pressure

At Good Foods, every product we make goes through High Pressure Processing (HPP) because we believe food should taste as good as it looks and stay that way. HPP keeps our products safe, fresh, and full of flavor without preservatives. By owning and operating our own HPP equipment in both production facilities, we control every detail from our kitchen to yours.

For us, innovation isn’t about shortcuts. It’s about giving operators confidence with products that feel scratch-made and taste unforgettable.

Innovating With HPP

Here’s How It Works

HPP is a cold-water technique that keeps food both safe and flavorful, without any preservatives or chemicals involved. Freshly made dips (like guacamole) are sealed, then placed in a bath where they’re squeezed under very high pressure—kind of like a deep ocean dive, but for food. This powerfully neutralizes bacteria and keeps everything tasting bright and fresh while preserving bright flavor and natural nutrients.

Unlike many companies that outsource this step, we invested in our own HPP equipment. Every batch is processed in-house, giving us full control over food safety, consistency, and flavor. It’s how we make sure every package you open is safe, fresh, and as close to homemade as possible.

Why HPP Makes All The Difference

It’s not just about safety, it’s about preserving the joy of fresh flavor. Here’s why HPP sets our products apart:

Preservative-Free
Freshness

HPP protects dips against spoilage and harmful organisms naturally, meaning they last longer without any added preservatives.

Nutrient & Flavor
Integrity

Because HPP uses cold pressure—never heat—flavor, texture, and nutrients stay strong, giving customers that “just made” taste.

In-House
Control

Unlike many brands, we process every dip ourselves. Full in-house control means more consistency, safety, and reliability across every batch.

Why HPP Matters

HPP is more than a process—it’s a promise. By using cold water pressure instead of heat, we keep food fresh, flavorful, and as close to homemade as possible. We believe so strongly in HPP that we’re a founding member of the Cold Pressure Council and we continue to lead the industry in HPP innovation.
