Instructions
Caramelize The Onions:
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-low heat.
- Add onions and a pinch of salt.
- Cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until onions are soft, golden, and caramelized, about 20-25 minutes.
- Remove from skillet and set aside.
Prepare The Sandwiches:

- Spread fig jam on the top slices and close the sandwich.
Grill The Sandwiches:
